All uninsured patient bills are automatically reduced to an amount equal to or (or less than) the rates of one of the hospital's Healthy Families contracts. If a patient's income is within 400% of FPL he/she would qualify for further discounts under the uncompensated/charity care policy. the application is also available on the hospital's website at www.pih.net.
